Got seen very quickly initially due to my problem in a very safe manner. Was then sent across to AE which was very busy and the wait was quite long but the doctors there have excellent communication skills and nothing was too much. Very thorough and I came away still in pain but totally confident all would be well
Suggested improvements
Maybe the waiting time between triage and seeing the doctor in AE could be improved and at times the queue for the receptionist to book in was long

Absolutely faultless. Needed an ECG. For random timing on a Wednesday morning I was dealt with super quickly. Every staff member so nice considering tricky Covid conditions. Really grateful! We must NEVER let the NHS into the wrong hands. Thank you.

No fault of the department as it was so busy so a wait of about 2 hours. However a member of staff did apologise and I think everyone understood the situation.
Suggested improvements
Just a little more info perhaps on delays but otherwise all very good.

I was treated very well by all members of staff, my only complaint is the time it took to see the first doctor but fully understand the situation with covid and how difficult everything is and that fact I needed to see a doctor and not a nurse made my wait longer. When I saw the doctor he was understanding of my situation and did many tests and was very thorough in his examination.

Under the circumstances absolutely nothing, I'm very grateful you provide the services you do while this awful virus is here.

The place was clean however could have wiped seats between patients and could have opened windows. I appreciate it is cold and don’t want staff to suffer however perhaps some heaters to keep them warm along side this.
Suggested improvements
In light of COVID and that some people don’t have any symptoms, I would have liked to have the wipes cleaned in between patients in the waiting room. Alternatively, to have been provided something for us to have done this ourselves, it would have made me feel more secure when I was so anxious about going in the first place. In addition to have some windows open to allow air ventilation.
The staff however were lovely and was not over crowded.
